On Monday, October 6th, 2014, the weather was beautiful so, we took full advantage and went for a walk to explore our surroundings. Our school yard is very big and there is a lot to see! We collected some leaves while we were outside and we saw so many different colours. Next, we sorted them by colour and graphed them too! We looked at what ones were changing colours too! We've been practising using all our French colour words at school. Please ask your child to share with you the colours that they know. We also did some cool art using the leaves we collected!

We used the leaves to do some rubbing art with crayons! We made some really great pictures!
We sorted the leaves by colour! Some of them were 2 colours, so we put them in the middle.

We made leaf people with googley eyes!
