Today we investigated a gourd. We discussed what it looks like, feels like and smells like. We also made several different predictions.
What it looks, feels and smells like:
-It is bumpy (cahoteux)
-It is jaune et orange
-It feels bumpy and rough
-it smells like a pumpkin
Our predictions:
Dans une gourde, il y a (in a gourd, there is):
-les graines jaune (Michael)
-pumpkin seeds (Kylie, Corin, Kaden, Max)
-a bit of goo (Abby)
-vert gooey stuff (Ben)
-green seeds (Alivia)
- a big nut/pit (Serena)
-yellow seeds (Cullen)
-orange seeds (Adam)
-leaves (Anthony)
Our findings:
-There are seeds (les graines) inside.
- It is wet and gooey inside.
-The seeds were smaller than a pumpkin's seeds.
-It smelled like a pumpkin
-The insides were a yellow colour.
We used the gourds to make paintings!
We also used leaves and sticks to paint too.
