Measuring with Pumpkins

After measuring our pumpkin, we measured the height (hauteur) of our students using pumpkin shapes.  We stacked 14 pumpkins and put them on the wall.  We wrote our names on a sticky note and put our name to show how tall we are.  We talked about what students are plus grand (taller) and plus petit (shorter) and which ones were in the middle (milieu).  There were 2 friends that were 14 pumpkins tall and 2 friends that were 11 pumpkins tall.  The rest of our class was 12 or 13 pumpkins tall. Ask your student if they remember how many pumpkins tall they were!
