Smoothie Updates

Our class has continued to be very interested in our new Smoothie Centre! We are hoping that maybe we can make real smoothies one day!

The students have added a drive thru to the smoothie centre.  We used the teacher's chair with wheels as a car.  Paisley: "I'll wait in the car!" 

Max: "I have money for a smoothie."
Micheal: "You have to come through the drive thru."

Kaden put on gloves to hold the smoothies because they are too cold!

Katelyn: "I would like a smoothie."
Kaden: "Ok, we have grape, banana, apple, and strawberry."

Zach used the cell phone to call for a ride home after he worked at the Smoothie Centre.

Zach: "Can you pick me up from the Smoothie Centre later."

We added money to the store as well. Now students use the money to buy smoothies.  They count and separate the money while they play.

Students are doing a great job writing their names to sign up to work at the Smoothie Centre.  They are playing well together and sharing.

 Michael added a debit machine to the smoothie centre.  Kyle is using a pretend debit card to pay for her smoothie.

 Bryce found a receipt booklet and he has been writing receipts for the smoothie centre.  He writes the date and the prices.

 

 These students were writing the names of their friends that they were going to make smoothies for.  They used the word wall to help them write the letters.
