Les escargots

We have some new friends in our classroom!  We have a terrarium with lots of snails (les escargots).  We have been feeding them carrots and celery.  We watch them come out of their shells.  They make a sparkly trail of slime when they move around.  We have also been drawing pictures of our new friends.

This is the first one to eat the celery! We were very excited!

We are drawing pictures of our snails and their environment.  We put our drawings on our science wall.

We like to watch them crawl up the walls.  They move very slow!
