Observing Changes in Our Environment

Today we went for a walk outside to explore our environment. We observed the nature around us and made observations and drawings about what we saw. We saw a lot of green trees, and some that are yellow and red. Most of the trees had lots of leaves. We will continue to make observations as our natural surroundings continue to change!

We are drawing what we see outside!

"A green leaf!"

"A brown leaf!"

"A grey leaf"

We found a rainbow leaf.  We learned that leaves can be more than one colour!

"A frog leaf! It looks like frog colours!"

Dominic explained that all trees have roots. The small trees have roots under the ground that you can't see. When the tree gets bigger, the roots get bigger and you can see them.

"This tree is bigger and you can see its roots."

 "The tree feels like paper."
