Hello parents!
Next week is the last week of school before the holidays and it is a fun-filled and exciting week for students. Take a look at some of the upcoming events:
Mon., Dec. 14th: Holiday concert assembly put on by our music teacher, Mr. Oddy, and the intermediate music classes. The concert will be at 11:30 am in the gym.
Wed., Dec. 16th: Our class will be baking cookies at 11:30 am. Any parents interested in helping out, please write a note in your child's communication book on Monday.
Thurs., Dec. 17th: Spirit Assembly in honour of our school clerk Mrs. Helen Eaton and our secretary Mrs. Peggy Russette. The assembly will take place at 1:15 pm with a "Celebration Open House" to say good-bye as they are moving on to retirement and a new position in the school board respectively. Please wear purple and yellow or your spirit wear to celebrate.
Fri., Dec. 18th: Wear green, red and ugly Christmas sweaters to celebrate before the holiday vacation. Our class will also be watching the Polar Express and enjoying cookies and chocolate milk.
