Our Trip to Colasanti's

Our kindergarten classes had a great time on our field trip to Colasanti’s this week!  We painted a clay pot and got to plant a blue spruce tree!  We talked about how to care for the plant too.  It needs water, sunlight, and soil.  We also made a candy cane craft using pipe cleaners and beads.  Some students created a pattern with their beads too!  Then we got to visit the petting zoo and pet the goats and see the other animals.  After we washed our hands, we got to have a snack.  Then it was time for the live animal show!  We saw some exotic animals like a huge python, a parrot, a hedgehog, and a lizard.  It was a lot of fun! Thanks to all of the parents who came with us for the day.
