We had a busy day preparing for spring at John R. Park Homestead. We stuffed a straw mattress, cleaned with feather dusters, scrubbed floors, use a carpet beating stick and saw how to clean clothes without a washing machine! We learned about animals that are native to our home and looked for colours and signs of spring in nature. We even had a trip to the beach! Thanks to all the parent volunteers who came and made this trip possible!
