Flower Investigation and Artwork

We got to investigate and take apart flowers today! It was so awesome to hear all the questions they had and see everything they discovered. We noticed that some of the stems had water and were wet. We noticed there were little tubes and we thought that maybe the water was carried up the tubes into the flower. One of the friends opened up a leaf and saw that there were no tubes. We discovered that we think that the water gets to the flower from the stem. We also discovered that when we pulled off the pedals inside the flower where seeds. We thought that the seeds were used to make new flowers. Later, we used the flower pieces to make art and discovered that we could write and draw with the pedals! 🌷🌹🌸

Mason made a treasure map with the plants and drew an X with the pedals!
